HANS STUDY BRAND ASSETS — LICENSE AND USAGE

The Hans Study word mark, the S monogram, the StudyByt3s name, the
TSG and TSG Labs trade names, the brand colour palette, the typography
treatment, and all associated graphics in this directory (collectively
the "Brand Assets") are unregistered trademarks and copyrighted works
of Hans Study, an individual operating in Ontario, Canada.

Use of the Brand Assets is permitted only as described below. All
other use requires prior written permission from Hans Study.


PERMITTED USE (no prior permission required)
--------------------------------------------

1. Editorial / journalistic use referencing Hans Study, Hans Study's
   work, books authored by Hans Study, or the StudyByt3s podcast.
   This includes news articles, blog posts, podcast notes, conference
   programmes, and academic citations. The marks must be used
   verbatim and unmodified.

2. Linking to hans.study, with the Brand Assets serving as the link
   target (a clickable logo or wordmark linking back to the site).

3. Personal reference. Saving a copy of a Brand Asset to your own
   device for personal use, study, or archival is permitted.


PROHIBITED USE (requires written permission)
--------------------------------------------

1. Commercial use of any kind. This includes use in advertising,
   marketing materials, paid promotion, sponsored content,
   merchandise, apparel, signage, or any product or service for
   sale.

2. Modified, derivative, or combined works. The marks must not be
   re-coloured outside the published palette, stretched, sheared,
   re-proportioned, integrated into other marks, or used as a
   component of another design.

3. Implied endorsement. The marks must not appear in a manner that
   suggests Hans Study endorses, sponsors, partners with, or is
   otherwise affiliated with a third-party organisation, product,
   service, event, or position when no such relationship exists.

4. Use in misleading or deceptive contexts, including but not
   limited to phishing, impersonation, fraud, or any context that
   could reasonably damage the reputation of Hans Study.

5. Use by competitors. Other consulting practices, integrators, or
   advisory firms may not use the Brand Assets in any context that
   suggests association, affiliation, or comparable services.

6. Re-distribution of the Brand Assets as part of a third-party
   asset library, icon set, design system, or template.


PERMISSION REQUESTS
-------------------

Permission requests for use beyond the permitted scope should be
sent to:

   media@hans.study

Include in the request: the specific Brand Asset(s) you wish to use,
the intended use case, the duration and reach, where the asset will
appear, and any context that would help with the review. Reasonable
requests for editorial, academic, and non-commercial purposes
typically receive a same-business-day response.


ENFORCEMENT
-----------

Hans Study reserves the right to enforce the rights in the Brand
Assets, including by sending take-down notices to platforms hosting
unauthorised use and pursuing other remedies available under
Canadian and applicable foreign trademark and copyright law.


WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
-------------------

The Brand Assets are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Hans Study makes no representation that use of the Brand Assets
will not infringe the rights of any third party. The recipient is
responsible for ensuring their use complies with applicable law in
their jurisdiction.


JURISDICTION
------------

This licence is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and
the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties submit
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for any
dispute arising in connection with these terms.
